To write a narrative is to aspire to another world, visit it, then to find the words that will make it accessible to others.
In order to connect these interior and faraway worlds, each of the selected artists had to select an image or motif, which, once printed as wallpaper, would form a backdrop to their works.
The result is a kind of sequence, like a comic strip or shop windows. Diverse scenes or landscapes blur the border between image and object, between reality and imagination. Moving from one piece to another, artists and spectators write hybrid, multiple narratives, as disjointed chapters of an unfinished book.
